The energy (I know I know) of the Emotional Arcade in Switzerland was unlike anything we've ever experienced before, and it wasn't just the 93˙ heat. What was fascinating and completely unexpected is that the Swiss have little-to-no interest in American-style competitive games. No one wanted to race their Mood Scooters, or be the first to pop their Bliss Balloons, they just wanted to play. But as you can see, it didn't matter.

They were all incredibly sweet and had a ton of fun exploring their feelings in intimate ways. It wasn't what I'd envisioned for the space,  it was better, and made me question the ongoing role of competitive play in my work. Video coming soon, but thanks to Oksana Yakovenko for the incredible action shots!
